More Than Just D Now Curriculum
D Now is just one part of the ministry that we all have to do. But involving our students in discipleship is something that happens all year. Our studies can help provide you all the bible study materials you need for your various ministry needs.
Mission Trips, Discipleship Groups, Weeknight Bible Studies, Camps, Sunday School, and the list goes on. The last thing you have time for is to write or hunt down curriculum.
Our studies cover a wide variety of topics so I can almost guarantee we have a study that can meet your needs.
Here are some ways you can implement the studies we offer.
Camps/Mission Trips- You probably have bible study times as a group in the morning or evenings. Why not use one of our studies? The lessons will give you plenty of material to cover throughout your event.
Backyard Bible Clubs- You may call these something different but if you are reaching out to older students on a trip or in your community why not take them through a study.
Discipleship Groups/Weeknight Bible Studies/Sunday School- You do not want to take the summer off. This is a great opportunity to invest in your kids and get them ready spiritually to go back to school in the fall. Bummer lasts around 12 weeks. That is a lot of material to find. Why not pair a few of our studies together and take your kids on a spiritual journey throughout the summer. Here is a couple of sample scope and sequences:
Sample 1:
Unit 1: Rooted- Take 5 weeks to discuss the basic practices of our faith and how those things fuel us to do everything else.
Unit 2: Power of One- 4 weeks on buying into the idea of your group being unified in all they do.
Unit 3: Righting Wrongs- 4 Weeks about dreaming big about our call to change the world. This will give your students an opportunity to reflect on what they did during the summer and how they can do even more during the school year.
Sample 2
Unit 1 Restraint- Take 4 weeks to talk about purity. Basically treat it like a spring cleaning session to allow everyone to get their minds and hearts right before you do anything else.
Unit 2: All You Need Is Love- 6 Lessons on truly understanding love and what love looks like when we do it God's way
Unit 3: Power of One- 4 weeks to reflect on what you have learned and dig into how your group can not continue to grow and change the world unless they stick together.
These are just a couple of ideas. You know your group, their needs, and where you feel God is taking them. We just want to provide you with the resources you need to help your students experience life change and become life changers.
